What is juxtaposition?
  • it's a creative pursuit by confronting two different concepts or object that can make our brain to transfer meaning and this can make our brain(left and right) have conflict to each other to define its meaning
  • have to figure out the difference between them
  • juxtaposition also make we think what is the similarity between them

Look at the image above . It's look similar but its also look different. They played with the color and also its can bring different meaning to each of them.

Also like this tree and the red apple. What the relation between them? We can relate them with the seed of the apple and the tree. It's kind of juxtaposition to when our brain are trying to guess what relation rely between them.

ANALOGY

a) Metaphor
  • substitution with one another
  • connected in imaginative ways
  • not using like/as
b) Similes
  • like a figure of speech
  • when two unlikely things are compared
  • using like/as
  • examples : Life is like a Tyre , sometimes we at the top and sometimes we at the bottom

They have two idea of analogy. It is :

1) Logical Analogies
  • its uses a similarity in design, its function or structure
  • related to different object who a alike with some respects and others respects
  • as examples sees the pictures below :

FAST

2) Affective Analogies
  • its a emotional resemblance
  • using others object to represents others
  • eg) Busy like a bee

How mergers goes wrong?

At this lesson, we've been ask to combine two different animal and stated the possibility if they can survive over the merges. At this rate, I combine a frog and an alligator together. I think this merges cannot survive because it's been hard for the body to bring he big jaws of alligator and make them so lazy to move and can only survive for a few weeks if we are so lucky :D

Mortar & Pestle

We have been asked to make a short poem about mortar & pestle and relate them with women and man. Man as a mortar and women as pestle

"Man and Women are one, they not complete without each others, just like mortar and pestle, if either one of them are missing, they are nothing"

Other exercises is when we have to pick one of the pictures list at the notes and make also a short poem about them and relate its as 'LoVe

'
Red is hot,
Love is passion,
Just like chilies,
The more you ate it,
The more passion you get
